Siddharth Soni is the Isaac Newton Trust Fellow at Cambridge Digital Humanities (CDH) and the Centre for Research in Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities (CRASSH). He lectures in many areas of modern and contemporary literature for the Faculty of English.

Biography

Siddharth Soni wrote his PhD thesis at Cambridge on the short story form in India. His current book project is a political and material history of the Indian short story. He is convenor of the The Global Short Story (GLOSS) project, a digital humanities approach to studying the short story in global print cultures. His book-project ‘Monstrous Archives’, a technological history of the archive, won the 2023 Ideas Prize.
